I participated in the Dumpling Pouch Swap hosted by Teri. True to form, I'll be mailing my package today, on the shipping deadline. (I really admire those of you who get things done early!) I made two of the "The Easier One" pouches, which I found easy to make. ;-) The directions were clear and they went together on the first attempt. (Always a good thing for us procrastinators.) One of these pouches is headed for Teri along with some other goodies, the other will go to a local friend.

Teri made this amazing swap package for me. The colors are very "me" and I'm loving using these beautiful handmade pieces.

I'm linking up to the Finish Along Q3 Finishes Party. See my whole Q3 goal list here.

In August we made flying geese for the Midnight Mystery Quilt, hosted by Cheryl at Meadow Mist designs. In September our task was to make 34 square in a square units. Here's a glimpse of what mine look like.

It's fun to see all my fabrics in the mix now. I'm loving the scrappy look. The pattern is based on using 4 fabrics or sets of fabrics. I chose for each set to be one color, but scrappy within each color. Everything was pulled from my stash. As you can see, my stash is heavy on blenders.

Today we get the new instructions for October. I can't wait to see what we're making next!
