My Five Favorite Finishes of 2017

Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs is hosting her third annual "Best of" linkup. I've decided to share my five favorite finishes of the year. In no particular order...

Brighter the Better Baby Quilt

I participated in the 2017 weekly Project Quilting Challenges which I really enjoyed. This was my favorite from the series. I love the color palette and the dots and stripes. Read more.

Improv Tumbler Mini Quilt

This mini quilt was made for the MQG swap and delivered at QuiltCon. It was hard for me to give away. Read more.

Back and Forth Baby Quilt

This one is most exciting because it is the cover quilt on my first quilt pattern release. And I love the fish! Read more or get the pattern.

Halloween Strip It Down Quilt

I've been collecting cute Halloween fabric for years and finally made a Halloween cuddle quilt for our household. The pattern by Quilt Theory went together quickly and easily and I love the spiderweb quilting by Tami. Read more.

Planned Improv: Scrappy Squares Mini Quilt

Planned Improv: Scrappy Squares is my first 6-hour quilt workshop that I'm teaching. My favorite version of this technique that I've made so far features the blue solids. Read more.

Thanks for visiting. I'll share my most visited posts later in the week. ;-)

I'm linking up to Cheryl's Best of 2017 Linky Party.

Thank you, Carole. Sometimes it's hard to not focus on what didn't get done, but it was nice to look through the finishes. :-)

Thank you, Yvonne. I am not doing the swap this year. It was really hard not to sign up, and I loved the in person delivery, but I decided I just didn't have the bandwidth for it.

  3. You have highlighted some great quilts, I think my favourite would have to be the scrappy squares, such a great colour palette and it just speaks to me. Congratulations on a great year.
