Finished my Puzzle!

I was so amused when I read Kim's tips for getting ready for the upcoming season of Project Quilting and number seven was to finish up any puzzles you've started. You may remember that I started a puzzle a few days ago. So, here it is, my finished 1000 piece "stained glass" puzzle. The first photo shows it on my black tabletop and the second shows it held up and backlit. I may just tape this up in the window of my studio.

And now I'm all ready to sew... right after I clean up the studio. ;-)

Have you ever sewn for a quilt challenge? Participated in Project Quilting? I hope you'll consider joining in for this season's challenges. The first one start January 7. Let me know you'll be participating so I can keep an eye out for what you create!

Join us! It's a lot of fun. A one-week challenge is a little crazy, but for people like me it gets right into the last minute time period that I usually create in after procrastinating. ;-)

I enjoyed this post and like a "laid back" Christmas season, too. It also made me think about those finishes I have on hand. Now I'm considering doing the same. I do have two projects that I will participate in, but otherwise will try, over this 2018, to finish those quilts I have started. I'm participating in a "traveling quilt" project in one quilt group and a few friends and I plan to each do the "Long Time Gone" quilt--that will be enough new starts this year!

Thanks for visiting, Linda. Your traveling quilt project sounds so fun. It's nice to have a mix of new and old projects. Good luck with your projects!
