Lecture & Trunk Show: $400
Workshop: $700 for 20 students
I am currently only booking virtual events for the foreseeable future. My standard fees (listed above) apply, and your guild saves on additional fees related to travel, lodging, and meals.
Virtual Lectures/Trunk Shows:
My 45-60 minute lectures involve a slide presentation with plenty of wide-view and close-up quilt photos in lieu of an in-person trunk show as well as time for Q&A. I can join your regular guild Zoom meeting for my presentation or host the lecture on my Zoom account.
My virtual workshops are a combination of 2-3 live Zoom meetings and online course materials. Fees above are for a "6-hour class" for a maximum of 20 students. (Please inquire if your group is interested in a longer format.) The 6-hour class can be done in one day (as we would if we met in person) or spread over a week or weeks. We will schedule the live Zoom sessions for your group (all hosted by me, 45-75 minutes each) when we sign the contract. Students will have access to the online coursework beginning with the first Zoom session, and their access will continue after the conclusion of the live course meetings.
Option 1: Three live Zoom sessions spread over a six-hour period (i.e. 10am-4pm), with work time between sessions. During work time (and beyond) students access the online coursework for further instruction and resources. This option is most like the in-person 6-hour workshop in timing.
Option 2: Three live Zoom sessions are scheduled over the course of one week (7 days), allowing additional work time between sessions. Between sessions, students have time to work at their own pace while accessing the online coursework.
Option 3: Three live Zoom sessions are scheduled in a weekly time slot (i.e. Saturdays at 10am). Between sessions, students have time to work at their own pace while accessing the online coursework.
*In any of the options, the "required" work between live Zoom sessions remains the same, 1-2 hours between each live session. Students are welcome to spend additional time, and the online coursework will enable them to work beyond the steps that have been presented in the live session(s).
